GLA Taxi bill revealed

Liberal Democrats on the London Assembly have revealed that Barnet's Tory GLA representative Brian Colemen charged London taxpayers over £10,500 in expenses last year, including £8,231 on taxis.

Liberal Democrat Assembly Member Caroline Pidgeon said:

Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member Caroline Pidgeon" Tory Brian Coleman's taxi expenses are extraordinary given that he also gets an all -zone Travelcard too. I shall be asking in the Assembly that the rules be tightened so that Assembly Members don't run up bills that, frankly, many hard pressed council taxpayers would find astonishing."
