He works closely with the Mill Hill Liberal Democrat councillors and has also campaigned in Burnt Oak, Hale and the Hendon Central area.
Matthew said: "I am delighted to have been selected to fight Hendon for the Liberal Democrats. I was first a party member in the old "Hendon South" constituency, so this feels like coming home. I grew up with Hendon as my local library and have always known the area well, so it is great to be standing here now.
"The Liberal Democrats' judgement has been proved right on the Iraq War, the credit crunch and the need to reform Parliament. We have the best policies for Britain - click http://www.libdems.org.uk/policy_briefings.aspx to read more about them. My campaign website is at http://matthew4hendon.blogspot.com/."
