Duncan Macdonald to stand in Underhill by-election

Former Councillor Duncan Macdonald is the Liberal Democrat Candidate in the by-election for Underhill Ward on 5th May. The by-election, which was caused by the resignation of a Labour councillor, is taking place at the same time as the Mayor and GLA elections.

Councillor Duncan MacdonaldDuncan Macdonald was a Barnet Councillor from 2005 to 2010. He has lived in Underhill for 23 years.

He said: "For too long Underhill has been a political football and it's time for a new independent minded voice that will represent the best interests of the area.

"I will concentrate on the practical everyday issues facing Underhill residents which include housing, parking and planning issues that have been allowed to go too far without proper scrutiny."
