Finchley Central – Share your views at our open forum
For years, Barnet's Tory-run council has ignored Finchley Central.
Now the neighbourhood faces a crisis - and your local Liberal Democrat team is sounding the alarm bell.
Finchley Central is Barnet's employment hub, which normally sees thousands of commuters every day. But home working means the high street is half empty.
And that comes on top of years of neglect, even while the council has poured investment in other town centres and development sites.
We want to see investment in Finchley's high street - we want far better provision for cyclists and pedestrians - and we want to say NO to developers who are looking to run down the area even further.
But we also want to hear from you.
So we will be holding a virtual public meeting on Wednesday 30 September at 8pm to discuss where Finchley Central goes from here.
If you want to make a difference to your neighbourhood, why not join our meeting and share your views?

Another future is possible for Finchley Central - let's make it happen, together.
